This site is for real people. Exercising is important for everyone, not just athletes or fitness models. Everyone, regardless or age, current fitness level, or past experience can and should exercise. I’ve created this site to help those who don’t know where to begin, need a little more info or just need some motivation. Real People working out achieving Real Fitness.
During the past two and a half years, I have been working at the Old Colony YMCA. Working in such a community based program has provided me with the opportunity and challenge of working with a variety of clients from all age groups and fitness levels. I have worked with seniors, teens, bariatric patients and persons with disabilities. I was also very fortunate to have the privilege of training with and under a highly experienced professional, Maureen Amirault. Not only is she an expert in her field but an impressive woman in all areas. She placed first and overall in her first competition. I have designed programs for weight/fat loss, improved athletic performance, wellness and weight control, general fitness and health management. |

Ms. Campbell and I meet approximately 4 times a week for personal training sessions. It is obvious that she meticulously prepares sessions designed to engage my needs and interests. What was most impressive to me was the scope of her work. Knowing that my husband Paul and I are leaving for Japan to visit my family this fall, Ms. Campbell decided to create workout videos for us to use while we are away. She began this project not only to help us while we are in Japan, but also to encourage others to improve and maintain their health. I’ve been lifting for many years and had reached a plateau, not gaining any more muscle. Lynne advised me to change my workout patterns, particularly cardio. It worked….I gained ten pounds and went down a pants size. —J. C.— |
